
Keystone Nordic Center
The Keystone Nordic Center is scheduled
to open by November 25th, weather permitting.
Keystone's Nordic Center offers more than 9 miles
(16 kilometers) of groomed trails and provides
access to more than 35 miles (57 kilometers)
of nearby packed trails through the White River
National Forest (these trails require a 3-5 mile
drive to reach the trail heads). Please call the

The Nordic Center offers a variety of ski and
snowshoe trails as well as old-fashioned family
tubing.
- Located in The River Course clubhouse (Elk
Run neighborhood).
- Daily programs include classic cross-country
skiing, ski-skating, telemark
skiing, snowshoeing, and family tubing.
- Group and private lessons available with
advanced reservation.
- Signature programs include: Friday Ladies
Days, Peak to Peak Treks, Eco Hikes and Full
Moon Tours.
The Nordic Soup Bistro.
Relax and warm up before or after your Nordic
adventure with a beverage (beer, wine, coffee,
cocoa, soft drinks) and a snack in the clubhouse or
on the sunny patio. Enjoy a soup buffet
lunch, served daily from 11:45 a.m. - 2 p.m. Please

Group Nordic Skiing Lesson
An introduction to cross-country skiing
techniques. Learn how to move efficiently, turn and
stop. Daily at 10 a.m. $39 includes trail
fee, equipment rental, and 1-hour lesson.
Personal Trainer
A private lesson in classic cross-country or
ski-skating techniques. Afternoons, by
reservation only. $65 includes trail fee, equipment
rental, and 1-hour lesson. Discounted prices
for 2-3 participants.
Telemark Lessons
Learn the basics of this classic
old-fashioned turn on downhill runs. Private
lessons available with advanced reservation ($125
single, $25 each additional participant).
Equipment rental $21 with lesson.
Snowshoe Ecology Hike
An easy family-oriented hike through the
Snake River Valley. Learn about
local wildlife, plants & mining
history. Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays 10:30 a.m.
- 12:30 p.m.; Fridays 1 - 3 p.m. $32 includes
trail fee, equipment rental and tour. Minimum
age is 7 years.
Mountain Top Snowshoe Trek
Snowshoe from the top of the gondola on Dercum
Mountain to Bergman's Bowl and back (avalanche
conditions permitting). Enjoy the amazing
views and get a great workout! Thursdays,
leaving at 10:15 a.m. and returning around 2:30 p.m.
Or any day with a minimum of 3 people and 24-hour
advanced reservations. $70 includes equipment
rental, tour and gondola/lift ride.

Friday Ladies Days
Lessons taught by women for women.
This unique program combines social activities with
classic cross-country skiing in the morning and
snowshoeing or ski-skating in the afternoon.
Fridays 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. $60 includes lessons,
equipment rental, and lunch. Minimum age is 12
years. Reservations are required.
Full Moon
Snowshoe Tour
Enjoy a moon-lit snowshoe hike and supper. The
mostly level terrain is perfectly suited for groups
and families. $39 includes equipment rental, tour,
and soup buffet dinner. Tours begin between
4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., depending on time of year.
Minimum age is 12 years. Reservation required.
Tour Dates: December 29, 2009; January 29, February
26 & March 27, 2010.
FOR KIDS:
Polar
Bears
A group cross-country ski lesson specially designed
for kids ages 6-12 years. Your child will learn the
basics of cross-country skiing on level terrain and
will become familiar with sliding on the snow.
Available daily by advance reservation. $38
includes 45-minute lesson and equipment rental.
Family Nordic Lesson
A 1-hour Nordic skiing lesson for adult &
child. Available daily with advanced
reservation. $60 for two family members and
$10 for each additional family member.
Includes lesson and equipment rental.
Family Tubing
Tubing the old fashioned way - walk up and slide
down. Open daily, November - January 10am - 2pm and
February - March 9am - 1pm. Tube rental
required (at the Nordic Center). $15 per hour per
tube. Tube availability is first come, first
served. For safety reasons, personal
sleds are not permitted at any time.

Keystone's Nordic Center is situated at an elevation
of 9,000+ feet above sea level in the White River
National Forest about 90 miles west of Denver
International Airport:
- Take Interstate 70 West through the
Eisenhower Tunnel to Exit 205
(Dillon/Silverthorne)
- Continue 5 miles east on U.S. Highway 6 to
Keystone Resort
- The Nordic Center is located off of Highway
6 in the Elk Run Neighborhood. 155 River Course
Drive.
- Driving time is about 1.5+ hours from the
airport
